8/62 — Sufficiency
"If they intend to deceive you, God is enough for you. It is He who strengthened you with His help and with the believers."
The place of the verse must be recorded: in the sixty-first verse inclining towards peace had been commanded. The sixty-second verse meets the anxiety that command would produce.
I record this as my own reading: the command of peace is not cancelled by a concern for security — the concern is answered in a separate sentence. And the answer is given with ḥasbaka'llāh (God is enough for you).
