قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرْنِى بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ
The sentence is three words, and it will be repeated word for word in the thirty-ninth verse of the sūra — there in the mouth of a messenger who is not named.
The word order must be recorded: bimā kadhdhabūn — the bāʾ here reports cause ("because they denied me"). Another parsing is also transmitted: mā is counted maṣdariyya and the sense given is "in return for their denial". Both parsings come out at the same place.
And the addressee of the complaint must be recorded: the prayer is directed to the Lord, not to the people. The same point was treated at al-Furqān 25/30 (inna qawmi'ttakhadhū hādhā'l-qurʾāna mahjūrā), and it was recorded there: while the objections are voiced openly, the answer is directed upward as a complaint. I rely on that treatment.
One further entry: the prayer does not say "destroy them." Unṣurnī — "help me". What is being asked for is not specified. I give this as an observation about the word order.
