"Nothing of their reckoning falls upon those who guard themselves; but let it be a reminder (so let them turn away). Leave those who take their religion as play and amusement, whom the life of this world has deluded."
The command in the sixty-eighth verse (turning away) is completed here with a qualification: wa mā ʿalā'lladhīna yattaqūna min ḥisābihim min shayʾ.
The same expression had occurred at al-Anʿām 6/52 (mā ʿalayka min ḥisābihim min shayʾ). Two occurrences: one to the Prophet, the other to those who guard themselves in general. This is a repetition that can be verified within the sūra.
وَغَرَّتْهُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا — the root غ-ر-ر was treated in detail at Fāṭir 35/5 (the outward appearance dazzling, the inside empty). And the note wa lā yaghurrannakum bi'llāhi'l-gharūr was given there as well.
وَذَكِّرْ بِهِۦٓ أَن تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌۢ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ (70) — ibsāl (ب-س-ل): to be left as a pledge, to be handed over. The word occurs rarely in the Qurʾān.
(71) — and the block closes with the command to submit.
