إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُهُۥ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَٰنًا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
"The believers are only those whose hearts tremble when God is mentioned, whose faith increases when His verses are recited to them, and who rely upon their Lord alone."
وَجِلَتْ — root و-ج-ل: a shiver, a fear that falls inward. The root was treated in al-Ḥajj and in al-Muʾminūn.

Zādathum īmānā — the increase of faith was treated in al-Fatḥ 48/4, where the theological debate was transmitted without taking sides. I do not repeat it here.
And the place of this description within the sūra is worth recording: immediately after the question about the spoils, who counts as a believer is described. I record this as my own reading: in the middle of a dispute about property, the sūra sets down the measure at the outset.
